actually, you can dive up if you want to qualify for jr. worlds, but you can't do well in 13-under and expect them to put you on the team in 14-15, you have to earn you spot. I dived up last year to qualify, I missed by a very little bit, but if I had gotten top two, they would have let me go. The reason you hafta dive 7 meter is because that's the FINA rule, it's not just the meet or an American rule, in all the countries but ours, they all dive 7 meter until the move up to group A (16-18) that's just they way it is, sorry.
