: Hi,
: I am a VERY new diver. In fact, I still have yet to start. I am 11 years old. My mother called a diving coach on Sun. Now its Wed. night and I just found out about this site. All of my experience-VERY BAD regular, swan, jack knives and baskwards divs off my backyard diving board. I REALLY want to start. I got the insperation this summer. The Olympics. Laura Wilkinson. Wow. I realized that Whenever I went off the backyard diving board, I couldn't stop. It was soooo much fun. So I stated going to a high diving pool.I looooved it. So now I take lessons. I would like to know if anyone has any websites, clubs, ANYTHING that has to do with diving and southern Florida.
: Thank you sooooooooooooo much.

I'm glad to read that you are soooo excited about learning to dive. I coach my daughter and it is a really great sport. It's a good idea to take lessons. You will learn the right way to perform the dives. You will be safe and be having fun at the same time. If you think that going off a backyard board is fun a real good springboard is a real hoot.Keep working hard and do lots of sit ups, its not as easy as it looks. When you get the feel of it there is noting like it.
Good Luck,
Becky
