More effective stretch.

Sit down your resting on your shins. Your butt on your heels, if you get me. So your legs are underneath you. Put your hands on the floor behind you a bit and pull your knees up off the floor and roll back a bit so that your toes roll back with you. Keep the toes underneath and stretch the ankle out as far as you can. Often toe points look even worse if the ankle point isn't good either.

You'll have your chest against your thighs and will be supporting yourself with your hands. Push the tops of your feet (especially where the toes join the foot) forward as far as you can, really stretching that area out. But remember to keep your toes curled under the whole time.

Alternatively you can do basically the same thing but without stretching out the ankle and top of the foot. So similar position, but your heels are lower and you're resting more upright and the toes are even more curled under your foot. It can prove to be painful, but it'll work.
