TALENT IDENTIFICATION MANAGER
(WORLD CLASS START DIVING)
SALARY: ASA Grade X: To £30,000 plus pension and car
The Amateur
Swimming Association is the National Governing Body for Swimming
and its associated disciplines in England with its headquarters
situated in the centre of Loughborough.
Following the successful attainment of Sport England lottery funding
for the World Class Start and World Class Potential programme for
Diving the ASA is seeking to appoint a National Talent Identification
Manager - World Class Start Diving.
Reporting directly to the National Diving Development Manager the
role will include:
The management and implementation of the ASA Junior Talent programme.
The co-ordination of the regional World Class Start Assessment
days and the establishment of a parent education programme incorporating
sports science and sports medicine.
The co-ordination and implementation of a sports science, sports
medicine and elite diver tracking system for talented junior divers
on the World Class Start programme.
Candidates must have extensive experience of coaching divers or
athletes in a skill related sport and hold relevant coaching qualifications.
A Sports Science degree would be an advantage.
The position is a full time appointment funded by Sport England
Lottery fund on a fixed term contract for three years.
