Sagebrush Diving hires new coach
Jan. 2001

"Sagebrush Diving, a relatively new springboard diving club based in Arvada, Colorado, announces the hiring of three new assistant coaches. Pictured from left to right are Head Coach Kevin Sage, and new coaches Dan Schunk, Noah Eckert, and Johnna Jaynes. Schunk is a former MVP diver from Purdue University who recently attended the Rose Bowl cheering on his alma mater Boilermakers (Ouch!!! It didn't help!!!). Eckert is a former MVP diver from Northwestern University, who was hired based on his outstanding attempt at a "Heli-Launch" off Sunburst Cliff at Loveland Basin (unsuccessfully landed). Jaynes is a former MVP diver from Standley Lake High School and is currently diving at C.U. in Boulder (oh, and of course, studying hard in Pre-Med when she gets a free moment outside of diving and coaching, just in case her Dad is reading this). Check out the Sagebrush Diving website at http://www.sagebrushdiving.com for more information on this young grassroots team that trains at the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains."
